Dr. Alison Calkins is a board certified radiation oncologist with extensive experience and expertise in treating both oncologic and non oncologic conditions with radiotherapy.
Dr. Calkins has been practicing radiation oncology for over 42 years and strived to maintain a modern and up to date practice during that time. Dr. Calkins received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Berea College in Berea, Kentucky, and went to medical school at Indiana University, where she also completed her residency in radiation oncology.
She has been on faculty at The John’s Hopkins University as well as the University of South Florida. Known for her skill and compassion in treating all types of cancer, her top areas of expertise are in breast and gynecologic malignancies.
